Orkin has bought pest control companies Economy Pest Control of Sidney, Iowa.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Economy Pest Control owners Dennis and Linda Jordan will retire and the company will merge into the nearest Orkin branch in Omaha, Neb.
Orkin is a unit of Atlanta-based Rollins Inc. (NYSE: ROL), which also owns and operates HomeTeam Pest Defense, Western Pest Services, PCO Services, The Industrial Fumigant Co., Waltham Services and Crane Pest Control.
