Bronx, NY – Kemp Anderson Consulting is pleased to announce that JP McHale Pest Management has acquired Dependable Exterminating. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction closed in November 2025.
For nearly four decades, Dependable Exterminating served families and businesses across New York City. Founded in the mid-1980s by Ziggy Gruen, the company built its reputation through consistent service, long-tenured technicians and strong customer relationships throughout the five boroughs. Kemp Anderson Consulting represented Dependable Exterminating in the transaction. Reflecting on the transition, the seller expressed confidence in the future of the business under new ownership. “I feel very good about the JP McHale team and the direction they’re taking the company. I think they’ll take great care of the business and the people,” the seller said. The seller also noted the importance of experienced guidance throughout the process. “Kemp Anderson Consulting made what could have been a complicated process feel smooth and manageable. I don’t think I could have done it without them,” the seller added.
JP McHale Pest Management, headquartered in Buchanan, N.Y., continues to expand its presence across the Northeast through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth.
